Good Morning, Cyyyyyyyyyyyberspace!

I'm working on a complicated column with lots of edits and add ons, so this is a quick piece to muse on the difference between intention and reality.

This week I intended to write reviews for four very talented authors, publish my new blogspot, work on a print edition of The Night Watchman Express, and continue the sequel. Reality:

Have done one review. One.
Still working on blogspot.
Wrote one chapter of sequel. One.
Have not yet started print edition at all.

Here's why. I should be writing right now, and what am I doing? Waiting for the man to pick me up, so I can fetch my truck and pay lots of dollars. Then I have to go and buy groceries. Not to mention, the toilet overflowed this morning. Swish!

Here's hoping that you all have a very pleasant day, and that your realities come much closer to your intentions.

Ah, how often the real world gets in the way! Hope the rest of your day goes more smoothly!

Isn't that the truth?

Urgh! I hate it when life interferes with writing! I have great intentions and do well for a while, but have to revise and move on with relative regularity... goodluck once the car thing is handled!

..and it always seems to interfere! Yesterday I had countless interruptions, the last of which was a long refinance of our house. Which was writing in a way - signing my name over and over and over again on copious forms. B&N, I'm ready for that book signing!

Thanks for the good wishes, Hart!

Oh, please - suck it up. You have no excuse. Start crackin' stop whining and get something done. It's not like you have cancer or anything.
Just kidding - you know I love you girl and I think you're awesome.

Life gets in the way. You just have to roll with the punches. Guess getting the more important things on the list done first is a plus-- if that even happens!!
